HOW TO SPOT A FAKE ID

Our IDs are all made per the latest requirements and versions of each state, but we do feel necessary to teach you a few tricks on spotting a fake ID.

1. Most over used states

Avoid ordering Florida, Pennsylvania, Connecticut or Illinois ID. These are the most commonly ordered fake IDs and bouncers know it. Also don’t get the state that you live in because bouncers or bartenders look at that state ID all day every day and even if the slightest thing is wrong on your fake they will immediately notice.

2. ID thickness

When you feel your real ID it is thick, like a credit card, make sure your fake is the same thickness too. Sometimes it’s worth spending the few extra bucks to make sure you have a quality ID.

Check the card’s rigidity. A fake ID will often have different weight and/or thickness of a real ID. Gently squeeze the ID to determine if the card feels right.

3. Picture

Well if your fake ID looks like a selfie you took Friday night before you went to the club, your ID Is fake. If you have shadows under your eyes or around your body, your ID is fake.

4. Holograms

This is probably the easiest way to identify a fake ID. Compare security features. Holograms should flash in and out on a genuine ID. Look out for holograms that remain consistently illuminated, regardless of how much light is reflected on the card. This will indicate a fake ID

5. Signature font

A rookie mistake, the font. No one’s signature looks good on a driver’s license so if you have some Microsoft word script font signature, that’s a red flag. Do it the old school way and sign a white sheet of printer paper and upload that, instead of trying to make it look too perfect.

6. Feel test.

Genuine IDs are not layered and are made of durable plastic. As a result, genuine IDs do not unravel or buckle. Fake IDs are often made with inferior products and layered. Fake IDs buckle or begin to peel apart when manipulated. Bending the edge or attempting to peel apart the ID can improve the chances of identifying a fake ID.
